May 2020 - Update on the works
Wessex Water are expected soon to repair the damaged meadows Wessex Water are planning to come to aerate the soil and plant seed in the areas which they damaged. Work has been delayed due to the cold dry April.
The heavy use of the reserve during lock down has destroyed many of the wild flowers. The Friends are planning to organise work to repair the footpaths damaged by a combination of excessive rain in winter and the very large numbers of people who visited the reserve.
