Outdoor Learning

At the heart of the constitution of the Friends of Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve there is a commitment to education through conservation.

Why visit?

There are fantastic learning opportunities for all ages at Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve (OSPNR). A wildlife haven, the reserve is a secluded piece of countryside in Sneyd Park, Bristol. It boasts a lake with a pond dipping platform, beautiful wildflower meadows, a reed bed and woodland.

The reserve is free and open to the public all year round.

Go on a bug hunt, identify living things and their habitats, embark on a senses nature scavenger hunt, or take your group on a pond dipping wildlife adventure!

The opportunities for outdoor learning are vast!

OSPNR is managed by volunteers. Our Events and Outreach volunteers Sarah and Sasha are happy to support your group visit, perhaps by sharing some activity ideas, welcoming your group or by giving you more information about the reserve.
